Click on a Page in Showit and on the right side you will see this Menu that says:
‘SEO Settings’ – ‘Page Title’
This is what the title of your page will be on google!
You want it to reflect your page’s content, contain keywords your target audience would search for, & be within a 60 character limit!
Click on a Page in Showit and on the right side you will see this Menu that says:
‘SEO Settings’ – ‘Meta Description’
This is what the page description will be under your page title in google!
You want it to reflect your page’s content, contain content your ideal client would search for, entice them to click on your page, & keep it under 155 characters.
Click on your Page and then desired canvas & text then on the right side you will see this Menu that says: ‘Text Properties’.
Use Headings 1-3 throughout your titles & subheadings. P for paragraphs, nav for navigation links, & div for any text design elements.
You want to make sure you only have ONE H1 Heading PER page!
This heading should be optimized with keywords and location if possible.
This is SO important for page speed & faster loading pages have a better chance of ranking higher on google!
You can use a website like www.tinypng.com
After you resize the images – rename the images with a keyword rich description using hyphens. Example: wrightsville-nc-beach-wedding.
Add an SEO Title on Showit that is short, simple, and it doesn’t have to be loaded with keywords.
The Description is important for visually impaired users, to describe the image if it doesn’t load, & for google to recognize what is in the image! Plain language & avoid keyword stuffing.
